Fashion Stories: The Life Of Things

Lissome’s first editorial “The Life of Things” was shot in Berlin in collaboration with photographer Johanna Ruebel. Inspired by the highly personal questionnaires of the New York Times bestseller book “Women in clothes”, our editorial pays homage to the intimate everyday relationships and the emotional connections that we form with our clothing.

Showcased are local, independent fashion brands such as Anntian, Vladimir KaraleevTHISISNON, ea seawear and WORON, styled with vintages pieces, hand-painted boots and secondhand Junya Watanabe and Prada. There are many different ways to create and curate a mindful wardrobe. Among my personal favourites are mixing high-quality wardrobe staples with unique vintage designer pieces and eclectic thrift store finds.
