Leit & Held stands for honest products with timeless design, produced as close as possible to their origin along a sustainable and traceable supply chain.
The Berlin-based label was founded by Pia, Dana and Nina in 2019. Their goal is to create more awareness for the responsible manufacture of leather goods and enable a more mindful consumer behaviour, while at the same time offering leather goods that will last for a lifetime – or two.
At Leit & Held everything happens on German soil – from cow to product. The hides from grass-fed cattle are tanned with vegetable extracts in the south. a family-run manufactory near Cologne produces high-end objects from the resulting leather. The result is a limited slow-fashion collection of bags and accessories – for women and men.
