Leni Adam / Switzerland
Leni Adam is a third-generation jeweller, whose family have run a workshop in the Swiss town of Olten since 1935. Despite beginning a career in law, Leni Adam followed in her family’s footsteps: after training in fine jewellery making and design in London, Zurich and Florence and experimenting for years with colours and materials, she launched her first collection in 2018.
Her pieces are hand crafted in the family atelier, using only recycled 18-carat gold. The shimmering gemstones she uses – smoky quartz, morions and rock crystals – are sourced by hand from some of the highest reaches of the swiss alps.
